As I was taking a walk through the woodlands in the fall of 2020 I came across a lonely tree with it’s branches stretched out over the water. The color and image I saw before me was so familiar. This was the year I was suppose to get to Japan to photograph the Giant Oak tree’s in the fall. Due to the pandemic I never made it but this beautiful image before me brought me solace and for just a few moments I felt transported to another world.
