“Not all roads lead to somewhere”

For years now I have been traveling to Maine to photograph and explore the area but never during peak colors in the fall. Hearing stories about how magical and beautiful New England is in autumn I had to see it for myself. This season the opportunity presented itself and after a quick hike I came about this beautiful image. The road drew my gaze from tree to tree, standing in awe as I watched the colors pop right off the trees. I took a breath, and with a click of the shutter I captured this magical image that perfectly encompassed the beauty of Maine in the fall.
